The tables were so close you had the person behind you chair toutching the back of your chair. You could not get up to go the bathroom because you had to disturb every body the was at the two tables to be able to pass. This restaurant filled the room way more than what they would be allowed to have in one room. Serive was good and to be honest I really felt sorry for the girls working they had one hell of a time serving the food because the tables we so close, but they did it and with a smile on their face. As for the food I myself had the fazzolettis witch is pasty and it was so sweet that I could not eat it....frist time there and for sure my last...would I recommend this place NOP
I have heard many great things about this restaurant and they are all true! It is a real gem! Beautiful atmosphere, their patio is amazing and has a very nice view. The waitress recommended their home made white sangria and it was delicious and refreshing! We enjoyed a beautiful dinner at a great price. The only downside it is a tad far from the city, if you are not familiar with the area it can be tricky. Simply google or add to maps so you don't miss the exit! It's well worth the ride!
After a day in old port we took the navette boat back to Longueuil , we decided to try this restaurant at the marina . Inside was fully reserved wedging Bparty so we sat at the lovely terrace with view of marina , option to sit by the pool and bar too . It is a fixed menus of 4 choices , we were 4 so each had different , it was all quite good , desert coffee included for about 34$ each ... Not counting drinks and wine that were reasonably priced , We had plenty of time to sit and chat which I liked ... Good place to go , nice option that's different ...
Le quai 99 had a great ambiance with live music and views of the st Lawrence River. Unfortunately the dining experience was sub par. It started with one of the worst Old Fashion I ever drank. It followed by our group having to continuously ask for our water glasses to be filled or more bread to be brought to the table. The reason this hydration was for the overly salty food. Lastly even tough my wife expressly mentioned her nut allergy (and the waitress took the time to write it down) she served her a cake containing nuts as part of our set menu).
I recently dined at what can only be described as the worst restaurant I have ever been to. Our 4-course meal was a total disaster. The cold soup was pink and tasted like store-bought salad dressing, prompting every guest at our table to send it back. The antipasti consisted of unremarkable ham, dried cherry tomatoes, and canned artichoke. My salmon tartar was chunky and lacking in flavor, served with small cubes of brown iceberg lettuce and French fries. The only redeeming part of the meal was the dessert, which was sourced from a good bakery. The $11 bottle of wine we ordered from the SAQ ended up costing us $33, and our total bill was a staggering $118. To make matters worse, it took 45 minutes for the staff to figure out our bill as they struggled with the cash system. They even admitted that this was a common occurrence. I urge others to steer clear of this restaurant at all costs.
