Poutineville - Longueuil

The best way to enjoy Poutine is by building your own from scratch at this restaurant. They offer pre-made options or the ability to create your own. You can choose your base potato, cheese, toppings, and sauces from a variety of options. They provide a Poutine sheet for you to mark your selections. They offer different sizes, including a MEGA version for an additional $5. The small size was more than enough for me. The service was excellent and they have a full bar with wine and beer options. They also have a selection of lattes and coffee. I highly recommend this place, as it was the best Poutine I had during my travels in Canada.

If you are looking for great custom poutine this is the place to go. For those of you who don't know poutine is french fries, cheese curd and gravy. you can add anything else to it according to things you like. this place has a checklist menu that you can fill out for a custom poutine or you can just order one of the many poutines available on the menu. Our server was very friendly and shared a lot of local info regarding tourist thing we could do. If you are in Longueuil don't pass this up.

Visited this restaurant while in the area at some friends and decided to give it a try based on the reviews. We ordered the special Poutinville grand format to go. We had it in about max 5 min of waiting. It was a big portion more than enough for 2 persons. We were disappointed with the taste of the sauce, it was a little sour and not so happy with the potatoes and beef tastes. We had problems after eating (aprox 1 hour – nothing eating meanwhile), stomach ache and diarrhea after. My wife doesn’t want to hear about this place again, but I still want to give it a more try for other choices on the menu.

Impossible not to have poutine when visiting Montreal. We had it a few times, I must confess. The one at Poutineville was the best of the lot. We really enjoyed that you can build your own poutine. Tasted great. The location is bizarre, but well worth getting to.

We had a fantastic evening at this restaurant. It took us a while to locate it as the signage was not very prominent. The staff were attentive and the menu had a wide variety of options. After some consideration, I decided to go with the steak poutine, which was incredibly filling - I couldn't even finish it all (thankfully, they offer doggy bags). The cocktails were also delicious. Overall, it was a great value for the money and definitely worth a visit.
