Today, I had a delicious spaghetti carbonara that was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. I enjoyed it so much that I will definitely be coming back for more and highly recommend it to others.
Fabulous, fresh food, with top rate service . We had goats cheese salad and caser salad with tiramsu to follow. Absolutely fantastic Saturday lunch..we will be back
We were on a tight schedule when dining here, but it all worked out swimmingly well thanks to the speedy and efficient service, and top-drawer food. I had the hake salmon duo generously portioned and cooked to perfection. The rest of our party were equally impressed overall.
“I prefer ice cream in a cone, and I ordered two scoops of it (around EUR). The ice cream lady made me the two scoops and voila! The first scoop could hardly fit into the cone and the second one “was some kind of...a joke” as I said. While it wasn’t my intention to make any joke to that lady. (Please see attached photo, I think there is no need for a comment). There is similar price and taste of ice cream in Strandhill Mammy Johnston's, but excuse me, people go there not only to see the ocean bay, but also to stand in a queue to get famous ice cream. You might say “Oh, come on, it’s only ice cream…poor girl” however this is unacceptable, it shouldn’t be like this. Please teach your staff how to put ice cream into a cone correctly and teach them portions, as this does not wet the criteria for product weight price, which might as well be regarded as a scam. I regret not asking the lady to put those scoops (instead of the appropriate scoops) in a cup and compare that to my husband’s portion; he was just smarter than me and ordered ice cream in a cup instead of a cone. I acted polite, kept silent and said nothing about it…it is why I decided to leave my feedback on all apps instead (apologies for the emotional part of the plot). And yet, in addition to the ethical and aesthetic sides of the question mainly, an ice cream is something to enjoy, something that you have deprived me of, and from the standpoint of aesthetic, it looks hideously bad and resembles a sneer. I would much rather drive an hour to Galway or Strandhill if it meant I would get a more pleasurable experience. cent ice cream which is on every corner in Longford is less likely to bring me such disappointment. This I would not recommend to anyone. You should have taken care to teach your staff their proper jobs on how to lay out a scoop of ice cream in a cone which is not that difficult if a job. Essentially, the quality of the ice cream is good, but the cone is very dry.” SATURDAY, JUNE, PM
