Long Jetty Takeaway

Vegans want greasy take-aways too! Long Jetty Takeaway delivers. They even have Vegan chicken salt for the chips! There is a huge variety of vegan meals and treats. It's in a perfect location to grab your meal and wander down to Long Jetty where there is plenty of seats and picnic tables with a great view of the lake.

A good selection of food, amazing burgers! Nice, quick service and done with a smile. Plenty of options for those on vegan or gluten free diets.

After having heard good reports about this place we tried it today and it was really disappointing. After a long wait which was understandable, being Mother's Day, the food was no longer hot as it had been sitting in the food heating area whilst waiting for other food from the same order to be cooked. We also observed the vegan burger part of our burgers were only turned over once and not pressed down on the grill to retain some heat, so this really did not help the food to stay hot for very long. Vegan burgers were also priced quite a lot more than the regular meat burgers so that was a bit unfair. We will never go back. Overall very disappointing.

So Glad we can finally go to a takeaway that keeps the meat eater man and vegan lady happy. Burger with the lot was great he said whilst I had so many options to chose from but opted for the pulled jackfruit burger. Very yummy with great service, will visit my local take away again!

We noticed that signages were displayed indicating a change in management for this eatery but decided to give it a go since we were already there. Ordered 1 steak burger and 1 crispy chicken burger to try and concluded that they were very average. Edible but nothing spectacular about them.
