The lamb cumin, and pork soup dumplings were especially good. But the tea smoked duck was absolutely phenomenal. Imean really, really exceptional. The smoky flavor, succulent meat and crisp skin were perfect. I cannot recommend this dishhighly enough. Our server Andy was attentive and we never had to look for him. I have officially added this restaurant to my list of must-visit spots in NYC. I always walked by and wanted to try it out, and I'm so glad I finally did! The hostess was very kind and managed to fit us in even though we didn't have a reservation, which we really appreciated. Every dish we tried, from the scallion pancakes to the soup dumplings and DanDan noodles, was delicious. I was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable prices as well. My favorite dish was the ginger duck, which I will definitely be ordering again in the future. If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping by. I can't wait to return, as this will be my new go-to spot. The food and service were both amazing, bravo!
The food at this restaurant is consistently delicious. The fried rice is outstanding, and even though I typically don't like lamb, I found their spicy lamb to be perfect. Every dish we tried was consistently excellent.
The food at this restaurant was fantastic, with some dishes being quite spicy! I particularly enjoyed the Grandma's Tofu, as well as the Singapore mei fun, spicy lamb, and duck. It seemed like there were even more gluten free options available than what was on the menu.
We walked in at Saturday evening. Reservation was full on the weekend so the owner let us take a counter seat. We ordered Dan Dan Noodles ????? super delicious! Besides regular spiciness, there?s a bit of sour flavor upgrades the layer oftastiness. Chunking spicy chicken ????? Stewed fish fillet in hot chili soup ???? ???????????????three spicy level yet wethink it?s not quite spicy a all, more like mild level Eggplant in garlic sauce ???????? eggplant itself is fresh and chewy,sauce is refreshing, perfect match! Taro milk tea ???? more like powder milk instead of fresh milk, a bit ofdisappointing We think the portion of the above entrée is big enough for 4 people (we have only two thus we took out some)feel satisfying with the meal! staff at the bar is really nice and attentive.
