Bobby Spot Nuvo Cafe - Long Island City

This place is an absolute delight. The food is always fresh and delicious. The owner is a real down to earth guy. He always welcomes you with a smile and goes above and beyond to make sure everything is nothing less than perfect. His staff is no different. The staff is quick, professional and always a pleasure to deal with. If you come in often, the staff will remember your name and greet you like family. I highly recommend this place for anyone that is looking for a good place to sit down and eat a delicious meal. Thank you Bobby and staff!!!

The experience was pretty much what I expected, but the food didn’t impress me much. The burger I ordered came with pale, white core lettuce instead of fresh green lettuce, which was disappointing. The smoothie was decent and gave me a nice brain freeze, though. The young woman behind the counter had difficulty communicating, and she misunderstood my order for the Whole Salmon sandwich. They also ran out of Smoked Salmon, so we had to go with Grilled Salmon instead, which cost about a dollar more. My sister liked it, though. I think they need to pay more attention to the quality of the toppings on their burgers, and the staff should work on speaking more clearly to customers. In terms of pricing, it's comparable to most casual dining spots of this nature. It’s an okay place for an occasional meal, but I wouldn’t want to make it a regular spot.

I love this place!!! Amazing vegan burger with quinoa and potato. And the smoothies are awesome. Great prices. Great service. Making it my LIC go to!

I've been visiting this cafe for years. The service has been decent overall, but there was a time when I ordered a coffee with almond milk and the owner went on a rant about how almond milk isn't "real" milk, even though I didn't ask for their opinion. I just wanted to place my order, honestly. Thankfully, the place is now under new management. However, the prices still seem high for average meals, although the smoothies are really good.

I ordered a medium mocha coffee and a pastrami and cheese panini sandwich. The menu displayed above the counter listed the sandwich as $6.44 and the coffee as $3.99. However, I was overcharged—my coffee cost an extra $4.13, and the total came to $8.26. The prices on the menu do not match what they actually charged me.
