Charley's Ocean Grill - Long Branch

The food was satisfactory and the prices were reasonable, considering the proximity to the water. The service was not great, but acceptable. Our large group had booked separately but were seated close together, which was a plus. The atmosphere was pleasant, with a quiet and open feel. I requested to have my bill combined with four others at a nearby table, but the waitress initially refused, citing their policy of not splitting checks. Eventually, the manager reiterated this policy, despite our efforts to work something out. Overall, there was a lack of effort to provide good customer service, leaving us feeling frustrated and disappointed at the end of an otherwise enjoyable evening with friends.

The service at the bar was absolutely terrible.
