Tony's Kitchen - Long Beach

I wanted to enjoy this place because I like to support local business but my experience there was just not good. There are some real issues. 1. The service for breakfast on Saturday was lacking with only one server. 2. I asked for decaf coffee but they forgot, just gave me regular and they didn’t remember until I was 1/2 way through drinking it. 3. The English muffin was not toasted. Maybe slightly? It also tasted like salad dressing got on it and they wiped it off. So weird. 4. Every time we poured some syrup, water would come out of the spout first. Also weird. 5. French toast was bland and omelette was just ok. Overall, I can’t recommend it until it gets an overhaul and I hope it does because I’d like for the businesses on Atlantic to succeed!

Great food and really good service. Pancakes were fluffy, eggs were perfect as were the bacon and sausage. Also had a torta with great bread and excellent fries.

We wanted brunch on a Sunday and it was nice they still served breakfast as we arrived right before 1pm. The restaurant was completely empty at the time and it could be maybe we came after the breakfast rush. I ordered the pancake breakfast with sausage and soft, scrambled eggs and it was perfect. Everything was hot and delicious and I was so hungry I forgot take a picture of my food,lol. The sausage was so tasty and pancakes you could tell it was from scratch. My boyfriend ordered the French toast combo with an extra side of bacon and he was also very happy with his meal. This is one of the better breakfast places that I have tried in the area I would definitely come again and try other items on their menu.
