After a long workday with no time to spare, we stumbled upon this restaurant while stopping for a drink at a convenience store. It was tucked away towards the back, and I'm glad we discovered it. I ordered the special plate and was pleasantly surprised to find out that I actually enjoy falafel. This was also my first experience with grape leaves wrapped around rice, which was served warm and plump. It was a delightful way to enjoy the dish, though I do wish the rice was cooked a little more thoroughly. The kebabs were tender and packed with flavor, but I found the rice that accompanied the meal to be bland and overcooked. Overall, I highly recommend giving The Green Olive a try if you come across one – I've heard there are several locations!

Despite being in a liquor store, this Green Olive is superior to the rest of them. The food was extremely fresh and service was more personable due to the restaurants seating and kitchen arrangement. The babaganoush had fresh eggplant in it that teared apart at the seams. It is mouthwatering. The kofta was also quite delicate, but delicious. I cannot wait to return!
