Tam's Burgers #44 - Long Beach

I couldn't find the burger joint I was looking for but as I was driving back, I saw this location. We were hungry, I wanted to buy a nice salad but my daughter wanted a burger and fries! I used the drive thru so I can't comment on the interior or cleanliness but I can definitely say that the cashier in drive thru was very friendly and sweet. I ordered a chicken salad(small). It came well prepared but on the menu it said it was grilled but I got a fried chicken salad which was not what I wanted. I still ate it though because I was really hungry. It was simple, lettuce, cherry tomatoes and maybe cucumbers. Was not what I really wanted but it was ok and cured my craving for a salad. I wish it came with carrots and croutons, maybe some bell peppers and hard boiled eggs but the tray was small so I can't imagine adding all that anyways. I do admit it had a lot of chicken to it so I did get my moneys worth. I don't even know how much it cost but I'll get to that soon. I got my daughter a cheeseburger combo. It was your typical burger, tomatoes onions and pickles, very flavorful and delicious. The fries were also your generic fries, lots of them and seasoned well. All in all this was a good deal, we were satisfied and happy. Customer service and restaurant location was great. Burger combo and small chicken salad, 22 dollars.

I used to order the breakfast plate with 4 pcs of bacon (soft) and crispy hashbrowns. If I didn 't order soft bacon or crispy hashbrowns, I would receive leather strips and raw potatoes! After a while, the cooks began to ignore my instructions and I began to receive leather strips and raw potatoes every time. I stopped coming here three months ago. Along with Poly Burger nearby, the food is cooked wrong, the establishment dirty with pests, and the prices are ridiculously high! They make money by serving the homeless and those on welfare. Those people could care less about food quality and cleanliness. Don 't eat here. The cashiers are rude and angry. Their faces allows one to peek at how miserable their lives are; having to make this job their careeer. I feel bad for them because they will probably never retire, forced to deny customers good service with a smile, or extra condiments.

I got a pastrami combo, omg it was $21 . Portions are huge but taste was ok. I probably wouldn't get this again but I'm willing to try something else . Fried sweet delicious

Never again will I eat here at this Tams. Charged me 15$ for this mess. Sloppy scrambled eggs, asked for well done hash brown they were burnt on the outside and soft and raw on the inside. My hubby was so mad he took that mess back before I could take a picture. We just moved around the corner, thought this would a good hamburger stand. NOT. NEVER AGAIN

This lady is on grumpy anger status all day long. I asked her if she could check under the table for my card that I thought I left and she tells me that someone already cleaned the table and it wasn't there. I didn't believe her so I went back and sure enough there it was!! Right under the table. This lady is so angry for no reason and is a liar because I found my card right where I told her it was!! Thanks for nothing!!
