Rivera's - Long Beach

We found this place 4 years ago and it has grown so much that we go there regularly and absolutely love. The most impressive is how the great service and excellent food quality are never disappointed. Rivera’s has Pozole and Menudo every day - unlike many Mexican places where both or one are served only on weekends. Honestly, every item in their menu is very delicious - you can not go wrong with anything you order. Even if you are looking to host an event and want to give Mexican food to your guests, Rivera can help. My family had an event there and they all loved the experience and the food. It is best that you are allowed to decorate the adjacent room. It is cozy; we all had an explosion and dancing. Only below is perhaps the parking lot, but to remember about street parking and you should be okay. You can also recommend the guests to Carpool (as we did) to minimize vehicles - just one thought.

Great food! You can say everything with love, the fleas are so fresh. There is so much to see in the restaurant, I love the interior. The service was on the spot! You have Pozole and Manudo all week! Only on the bottom I see that beers are expensive for bottleberries, but not for biggie. The food is so good!

So a great place for excellent Mexican cuisine. I would highly recommend this place. I had the special of the day (2 Carnitas with rice and beans) and it was excellent. The other people in my party also enjoyed their meals very much. Her shredded chicken was some of the best I ever tried and was so moist. The staff was very friendly and attentive.. The restaurant is original, so I would recommend for a reservation to make sure you can board. You have a counter to go so you can order and take it to the beach. House salsa is also delicious and very tasteful! I'm glad to come back. Only on the bottom is the parking space a little sparing, so plan ahead to search for parking.

Our favorite Mexican restaurant when we come to Long Beach. It's small, but it's worth waiting. The Pozole is excellent!!! Never disappointed, great customer service and very clean toilets.

Clean, yummy, absolutely delicious food. I highly recommend. This is some BOMB Mexican food. This is coming from someone who regularly (if not nearly exclusively) dines at extremely high end places. However I do love a local, authentic, every day spot and this is it for SURE.
