Pickled Fish - Long Beach

Excellent food, FANTASTIC customer service. My husband and I were at Pickled Fish yesterday and we're just talking about how amazing the food was, but also how the customer service was the best we ever had. The view is stellar and the decor is beautiful. The price is good. I didn't find it too expensive. We spent $200 with top and had a starter (PLEASE GET THE BURRATA! I had a black cod and my husband had her macaroni and cheese with bacon. We had a few drinks, too. We also ordered a paprika pizza to go. We visited the area so we could be back. Also to be huge kudo’s to them for gender-neutral bathrooms and inclusive. Fantastic setup. Very recommended. Editing my review after reading others: If you type less than 20%, I can understand being annoyed by the 18% reward. However, if you tap less than 20%, you should not eat in places like these anyway. My sum before I typed "extra" was $185, I even made it $200. The service was excellent, I did not feel insulting like their “political views”. At some point, the only thing that could follow the rear end of each one would be the gender-neutral bathroom. Pearl about inclusiveness. No one is attacked in the bathroom to cry loud. It is a great place, it is a shame that seemingly cannot afford to eat there feel the need to scream about it on Google.

VEGAN HIDDEN GEM We decided to go here not much expect and oh my gosh I cannot believe this place! The Umami in all flavors of EVERY dish were amazing. One can say that a culinary genius has handmade these complex dishes. The Shiiitakes mushrooms and cauliflower pizza were for dying! Will be absolutely back. Also bonus they pay all employees a living wage and also very inclusive, gender-neutral bath, pride flag!

Amazing food amazing service. Drinks were delicious and we loved the beautiful window seats overlooking the sea. This is our third time here. It was amazing every time!

What a look! Drinks and food are also wonderful. Friendly service made our whole experience great. Delicious cocktails, beautiful local wine selection. We ordered the chowder, the blue scorcher sourdough and the pink shrimp cake for an appetizing light dinner. From the salted chocolate pot de crème for a decadent dessert. Really pleasant place for drinks and dinner!

*UPDATE* Back in Long Beach and happy to report that the restaurant is still great. Added photos of different menu items (menu changes regularly). The salad had pickled cranberries- didn’t even know that was a thing. Oysters were a daily special and quite good. The view still rocks and the service is excellent. Great location- killer view. Cocktail menu was excellent. Dinner was fabulous- some of the best fried oysters I’ve ever had. My wife’s crab cakes were also excellent. Service was spot on.
