Kamal Palace - Long Beach

This restaurant is located on Pacific Coast Highway and can be a bit tricky to locate. Guests can park at the AMC and walk down to find it. The restaurant has a lovely outdoor terrace that is cozy and situated near the water. The service was excellent, and the staff made sure that our glasses were always full. The curry dish we ordered was delicious. Initially, I thought the napkins provided were not enough, but it turned out to be sufficient. We also took some leftovers home and were pleasantly surprised when they gave us extra rice. I would definitely return, especially since I heard they offer a buffet which I would love to try.

I had a great experience with the customer service at Kamal Palace throughout the night. I ordered the vegetable malai with coconut cream, which was delicious when combined with the vegetables and rice. I also requested the spiciest sauce on the side and found that adding a few drops made the meal even more flavorful. The portion size was generous and worth the price. They also have several vegan options available upon request. Kamal Palace is a charming waterfront restaurant with a rustic feel.

Kamal Palace is the best Indian food around!!! We’ve been coming here for years and have yet to find another place that compares. Our favorite dish is chicken tikka masala. Check this place out and be sure to also order garlic naan and vegetable samosas. You’ll love it!!!

Canal dining complemented with excellent spices, fresh mint, perfect heat and generous portions. The service lacks, so be patient and enjoy the food!

If you ever get food it's pretty good. Waiting an hour and a half no food. Denied that others in restaurant served ahead of us saying they ordered before they came. Have you ever heard of ordering your food before you arrive to the restaurant in order to get served seated, at a decent time??? I doubt I would return, no matter how good. That is probably why there are tables and tables of to go orders flying out of the kitchen.
