Ike's - Long Beach

They can make any of the veg sandwiches vegan. the james and the huge pfirsich are amazing! also the meatballs loved.

Meatless mike (meatball sandwich) with vegan cheese lettuce and tomato is one of my favorite sandwiches anywhere. I’ve eaten often at the Westwood location for work and happy to have one in Long Beach now. Great to be able to grab a quick vegan sandwich during the work day.

I've only been to Ike's Love & Sandwiches about 3 or 4 times, but I've really enjoyed each visit. It's conveniently located next to Target, making it a great spot to grab a bite to eat. The interior has a spacious seating area and there are plenty of tables outside, too. While the service isn't the fastest (maybe it takes time to bake the sandwiches or something?), the portions are generous enough to share. I often split a sandwich with a friend, especially if we grab a bag of potato chips to go with it. I'm hooked on the vegan turkey sandwich, so I haven't even had a chance to try the vegan chicken, vegan steak, or vegan meatball sandwiches yet!

This is likely my favorite spot for a vegan sub! The "James the Giant Peach" (veganized) is absolutely delicious!

This restaurant was new to me, but it seems they have a lot to offer. They have a wide variety of vegan and vegetarian options that go beyond just the usual menu items. The creative combinations of flavors are impressive.
