Cheese Addiction - Long Beach

The perfect day in BK: 1.Grab brunch at Wood Salt 2. Buy some soft cheese and salami to snack on later from Cheese Addiction 3. Do some secondhand shopping at Goodwill I got some soft cheese, almonds and salami to snack on while watching Stranger Things v2. I really wish they offered samples as it would have made me more willing to buy more. The lady at the register said the peppermint parm was what we wanted but the idea of peppermint and cheese just didnt sound good lol. We left with the robiolo soft cheese from Italy. She didnt disappoint, it is SO CREAMY! Will come back and try again.

Wanted to order a cheese plate delivered to my friend in San Pedro ASAP. I called at 6 pm Friday (the shop closed at 7 PM) and the cheese plate was delivered to my friend the next day by 10 AM. The lady was very helpful on the phone and my friend said her cheese was excellent. Highly recommend.

I absolutely LOVE this store! I 'm not a big fan of cakes so I was looking for a cheese store that can help me design a cheese wheel cake. Lyza was extremely helpful in helping me choose different kinds of cheese based on both flavor and softness. as well as the size of the wheel. I bought small cuts of several kinds she recommended and was able to communicate with her via email after my initial visit. Cheese I tried and can remember the names of: Brillat Ananas I tried the pineapple one from the store and used a Papaya one for my wedding cake . Both tasted like dessert and beautiful! Abbot 's gold cheddar with caramelized onion I could eat this one all day. It 's amazingly savory, wonderful with wine. I tried a few more and they were ALL very good, just didn 't write the names down! But my experience made me feel like I can go back for any occasion/any cheese needs and they 'd be able to recommend the perfect cheese for me again. Can 't wait to go back!! Lastly, this is more on the company as a whole than the Bixby Knolls location, but I initially called the Belmont Shore location and the lady that took my call explained the owner who is typically at Bixby Knolls will be the best person to talk to about wedding cakes but she was still SO pleasant and helpful with recommendations on when she 'd be there, what time the stores are usually busy, etc, and it sounded like all of their employees are very passionate about cheese! Happy employees are always a good sign :

If you want to be scolded by a cheese monger this is the place for you! Lysa was very nice and knowledgeable about the cheeses in the glass display and was helping us just fine. as I was waiting for Lysa cut and wrap cheese, I noticed some glorious dry cheeses at the top of the glass case that I wanted to take a closer look at. I didn 't see the small don 't touch sign. when I reached for the cheese the other woman at the registers snapped at me in an unnecessarily aggressive manner. when I told her I 'm sorry and I 'd like to buy a small piece of that raclette she said she would get it for me. And then she didn 't! later this person tried to overcompensate by trying to act over the top phony nice but the experience was already ruined. this was my first time here. I had hoped this would be a new spot to frequent as I live in the neighborhood but alas I will keep going to Oh La Vache on 4th street where they treat their customers with respect and genuine kindness--and have many great cheeses. c 'est la vie.

A wide assortment of cheeses. They even had my hard to find favorite, Koko's Coconut Gouda! Definitely a place worth visiting! Not only do they have cheeses, but everything for charcuterie board, including the board!
