Boba Guys Long Beach

This visit the Sapin Sapin drink reminded me why I enjoy Boba Guys over other boba spots, it tastes more fresh. I recommend getting the Sapin Sapin with regular ice letting it melt for a while bc it was very sweet. Once more of the ice melts it’s perfect! You could really taste all the listed flavors the texture of the coconut flakes was nice. Some of the non-dairy drinks could use some work but this coconut-based one is lovely! My husband usually gets the Black Sugar Hojicha that one is almost always great. Two visits ago I ordered a seasonal chocolate drink made with oat milk but something was so off about it. That was my first time ordering a drink that came with oat milk it tasted like it had gone bad the boba was really hard. Maybe it just depends on who’s working, but as a whole company Boba Guys has the right model. I appreciate that they use less junk in their offerings, hopefully they continue on that path.

I love the convenience of this location but the service is consistently terrible. Even if you order ahead online your drink will sit on a back counter out of reach rather than in the pickup area while all the employees hang out in the kitchen and completely ignore you. I keep giving it another chance thinking the service will improve but six times in a row now I’ve been disappointed.

You can’t go wrong with boba guys.My go to drinks are the classic black 50% sugar, or else it will be too sweet the horchata with boba.Locations I’ve been to: 2nd PCH in Long Beach, CA, thus far my favorite. Fast service and it’s outdoors plus the shopping in the area is a plus and right by the beach. Culver City, CA, indoors with an outdoor shopping center. The downside is that you order your drink on the tablet, so you might have to ask for help if it’s your first time. Abbott Kinney in Venice, CA, need to check it out. It’s inside a store. I will update once I try it.
