Abigail Juliet's Cafe - Long Beach

My daughter ordered a sandwich that was unfamiliar to us from the nearby restaurant. I'm not sure if it was because we were wearing masks or because we were a few shades darker than the majority of the customers there, but there was no greeting when my daughter said good morning and we received no response. The whole interaction was very chilly and unpleasant. We will definitely not be returning to Juice Lab anytime soon.

I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. I decided to try their breakfast menu, which was a nice change from the usual tourist spots. We ordered the bagel and Panini breakfast with coffee. The portions were generous, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy.

I frequent this restaurant often because it is a cozy option in the neighborhood. However, I cannot recommend this place because they are not following COVID-19 safety guidelines. Despite the rising number of daily cases with the Omicron variant, the staff did not wear masks and they removed plexiglass barriers earlier than necessary. It seems like they do not care about the well-being of their customers. They are not adhering to the Los Angeles mandate, which is very concerning to me.

Great food , friendly service, clean and an “Im coming back here for more…” feeling after you’ve enjoyed just a small offering from the menu!

Smoothie was gross, menu was limited. Was looking forward to a cute cafe experience! Avocado toast wasn’t very fresh, coffee was good though.
