Beach Cafe - Long Beach

The quesadilla had good flavor, but I was hoping for more shrimp. My friend's tidbits sandwich looked really delicious, so next time I will try that as it also comes with fries.

The advertisement claimed that the restaurant was good for children and families, but the atmosphere was not very welcoming during my visit, possibly due to it being a Friday afternoon. There was no warm reception for my granddaughter, and I had to request crayons and paper for her to draw on. The waitress appeared disinterested and the overall mood was not relaxed. The onion soup consisted of onion broth with only 4 pieces of onion and mozzarella cheese. I was surprised to find Lima beans included in the vegetable mix that I ordered, as I dislike Lima beans and had never seen them in a vegetable mix before. I would recommend removing the claim that the restaurant is family-friendly. I had been looking forward to a nice meal but found that the food was more like bar food. This may have been my mistake as I am not familiar with the area, but I will need to be more selective in choosing restaurants for my future visits on Fridays.

This restaurant is always a favorite! The food is consistently good, the servers are fantastic, and Billy is a true gentleman!
