Located at the edge of the Highlands, Morris Deli is not just your go-to for packaged drinks but also offers delicious sandwiches and homemade soups. If you drive by on the right day, you might catch a whiff of the smoker in action outside. I highly recommend the club sandwich on a toasted croissant with Colby cheese, paired with a cup of broccoli cheddar soup. Just take a look at the photos; this place doesn't disappoint! It’s always buzzing with regulars, and the staff really knows their customers. Morris Deli is a classic in the neighborhood and definitely worth a visit when you're in Louisville.

Morris' Deli is a small spot that delivers a big impact. They serve made-to-order sandwiches, and every item on the menu is delicious—everything is homemade and fresh. You definitely shouldn’t miss the chicken salad and the ham salad, as they are exceptional. Be sure to also take a look at their prepared sides in the deli case. My personal favorites are the macaroni salad, which is mustard-based and includes eggs—so tasty!—and the caprese salad, which is generously packed with mozzarella pearls. The service is consistently quick and friendly.

I've had Morris' on my list for a long time. Basically, since I moved to Louisville around twelve years ago. I'm not sure why it took me so long to get over to this spot, but I'm glad I finally did, because I loved it! Morris' is a truly typical Kentucky-style deli and general store. It reminds me of the spots I grew up frequenting in Bourbon County. They're offering up everything from liquor, snacks, and drinks, to whole country hams. Plus the deli makes this one of the best lunch spots in the area! They're serving up high quality sandwiches, soups, sides, and desserts daily. Plus, they offer catering. If you're looking for a quick and easy spot to grab something extremely tasty, I'd say Morris' is a great place to do it!
