My family and I stumbled upon this restaurant while travelling back home from a dance competition on Mother's Day. Despite its rundown appearance, the restaurant offered a large menu featuring both Canadian and Chinese dishes at reasonable prices. The bathroom left something to be desired, as it felt cramped and exposed to the dining area. Our waitress was friendly and welcoming, while the owner engaged in pleasant conversation with us. However, a second server was unprofessional, trash-talking the owners and causing a scene over a small mistake. Despite these issues, the food was delicious and well-prepared, though slightly under-seasoned. The portions were generous and satisfying, but the dessert options were limited to rice pudding and jello. Overall, the restaurant could use some improvements, but we left feeling satisfied. It is worth giving it a try and forming your own opinion on the food.

The atmosphere is good and the service is very good and the food is great and it is a good family eatery.

Good food and smooth service. Compared to other restaurants more healthy food. It's central.

Of course, this is "local fare" chef owned family operation with honest dishes offered with polite service. We have both Chinese and Canadian when we go, as well as generous breakfast items. Never had a bad meal, nor bad service. Wish they'd update decor, it cries for entering the new millennium and harsh compact fluorescent lighting kills any evening ambiance unfortunately.

We've been coming here forever and the food has never let us down. Sure the booths look used and the paint looks unfinished but thats what makes the old time atmosphere. There is one older lady waitress who talks trash about the owners while shes serving this lady says she also works for Blackfly needs to be fired! Worst waitess ever needs more drug rehab youll know who if you meet her. The oriental couple, Im guessing they are the owners, are amazing and the food is always perfect. This place reminds me of the 80's a really good atmosphere. The hot hamburger dinner and lo mein was better than home also love the egg rolls and one of the best crab won tons Ive ever tasted. Fish and chip meal was great and the pasta was perfect. Ive also tried the steak and they didnt let me down there either.I recommend this place to everyone. Try it for yourself and leave a review. Remember this isn't a 5 star restaurant, most of their effort goes into the food not the decor or paint. A nice goonies type of atmosphere.
