The Ealing Park Tavern

After I had a bit of a smiling start in 2017 (aka sniffs every day before work my alarm) I am back to get up the morning to go to the gym, all my meals for the week plan and I am on my blog postplan. I'm grown up again. this week was a bit quiet for me, but exactly what I needed to get back on the course. so here everything is good and the bad one from my week....WHAT's hot 1.

I had read some really interesting reviews about ealing park tavern and since then it was on my wish list. I just can't believe I didn't go earlier because I live less than 10m to foot from there! when we had a friend on Friday, we decided it was time to go. it is impossible to miss out on the main road to southealing station.

Since I read the reviews, I was looking forward to a visit and I am glad to say that it was not disappointed. even if it's a pretty big room, it was quite full on a Friday night, so we had to press in a small table. as they also have a microbrauerei, they have a good choice of beer, and for the stout lovers I recommend the birdie flipper. it was really good! for eating they make sure that they look at the specialties of the day as they could discover some really beautiful options. what I did. the chocolate mousse is really creamy and good!

Great pub. excellent food and service. beautiful terrace where live jazz standards were listed. they broke their own beer. the burgers, steak and pasta were all very good.

I'm SO excited! One of my favourite local pubs closed months ago for a refurb by its new owners and now it's reopened. I've been waiting (not very) patiently for months and I can confirm that Ealing Park Tavern is back and better than ever. I was invited to go and try out the new menu so headed down the day before New Years Eve with the boy. We started with drinks, as always. They've got a new cocktail menu and a friend of ours making the amazing cocktails there. I went for the porn star martini which was refreshing and the perfect balance of sharp, sweet and fruity with the shot of Prosecco.
