If you're planning a group dinner with delicious, shareable dishes that won't break the bank, I highly recommend this restaurant in London. For my 10-person birthday celebration, we opted for the tasting menu, which, while not mandatory, is definitely suggested for larger groups. We were treated to an abundance of fantastic food at a very reasonable price. All of the pasta dishes were outstanding, and the recommended wine was intriguing in the best possible way. The Gnocco Frito bread was among the best I've ever tasted. The restaurant's atmosphere was modern yet not overly formal, creating a wonderful ambiance that was further enhanced by the amazing staff. During my time in London, this meal has been the standout experience I've had with restaurant service. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating.
The #9 anolen in brod was lovely, reminiscent of pork dumplings, and the chicken soup was comforting. I chose the chicken soup because it’s less common, although it does remind me more of pelmeni. The filling of pork, ham, and cheese was a charming blend of tender meat, umami flavors, spices, and gooey cheese. My friend's classic Bolognese ragu was also good. Both pasta dishes were al dente, but they lacked the springiness I’ve experienced in better versions. The smaller portion sizes were helpful for sampling, but they were still too large for a tapas-style “pasta flight” that could showcase different regional dishes. With the meat starter, two pasta plates were more than enough for us, and we even had to skip the bread. The tiramisu tasted good, but I would have preferred it to be moister; soaking the ladyfingers in more coffee and whipping the mascarpone to a fluffier consistency would make a difference. As for the environment, it's a small space with tight tables, accommodating around 50 people, which can make it tough to navigate. Cold air often comes in when customers enter. The staff are friendly and patient, and while it’s worth a visit if you’re nearby (reservations are recommended), there’s nothing here that would entice me to return.

Good food, small portions, a bit overpriced, great service, crammed though and extremely loud (not energetic as opentable defines it). So loud that we skipped dessert and coffee.
