The overall experience at the restaurant was fantastic, especially since we were fortunate enough to enjoy the nice weather outside. The appetizers and main dishes were delicious, but I was somewhat let down by the dessert. I chose the restaurant for my wife's birthday because of the Nussella Calzone, but I was disappointed to find that there was only a small amount of filling, making the dish mainly dough.

The food was delicious, but the service was really terrible. The main host was friendly, but we were then attended to by another male who just sat at our table and then left. We were seated upstairs in a very quiet restaurant. The waitress came to us about 15 minutes later, but her English was not very good, making it difficult to communicate special requests for our orders. The waitresses appeared too busy to tend to the bar area, and it was hard to get their attention to ask for the bill. It took another 10 minutes for them to bring the card machine. We felt like we were inconveniencing them and not very welcomed. The food and wine were excellent, but the overall experience was marred by the poor service. We had come here two years ago for our first date, but after this experience, we don't think we'll be returning.
