The Montagu Kitchen Lounge - London

Lovely venue, it was a little empty, however the food was good, portion's could of been a little more generous. The fish was very good and the desert.

Front of house couldn't find booking to begin with but had space so we did have a table. Probably because we paid cash, staff miscounted and thought we underpaid. Apart from these two hiccups everything else was fine.

The food is really very bland and average especially the unseasoned chicken was very disappointing. However the staff were very professional and helpful, and the Christmas decor was lovely.

Excellent food and for a very reasonable price we had the tasting menu and were very happy with our dishes. The atmosphere was nice; busy but not so loud we couldn't hear ourselves. Service was excellent except for one mix up, but the situation was dealt with very well by the staff. We'll definitely come back!

One of my favourites: consistently delicious food and great service. Wonderful restaurant. Looking forward to dine there again: new menu again today.. loved it
