The mercer has a large selection of wines and a simple but effective British menu. one of the most important advantages for me was the excellent value for money. it is difficult to get good quality eating in the center of london for £45 for two people. also the live music is a really cool addition feature that has been added to the experience. I was very well supervised by the employees and would definitely consider the return.
I booked one of the conference rooms for private rooms for 17 people on Monday night. it was a business dinner with the customer who visited the event. from the beginning the contact with the event team was bad at the day of the events. my questions were not answered at all. Unfortunately, it was bad during the event: please see some points below: in the arrival the room was dark and quiet atmosphere bad. there was no one who could drink or talk to him during the event that no one checked in the group or the drinks served almost 45 minutes took the music to turn on service, only one server for 17; two people who were left before dessert (after 9 o'clock) in consideration of the minimum spending was £1500 I think it was a very disappointing service that kept me in my restaurant. At worst, our clients did not show the care and we felt that there was a chance to lose.
Came here for my work late Christmas party. we set the functional room in the upper floor and had a champagne reception at the arrival, access to a garderobe room and then a beautifully arranged long table where we enjoyed a delicious 3-course menu. it was a great hunting!
We were in one of the tiny private rooms and it was terrible (the silk room). food was ok. service was good. I wouldn't use that again.
