I have to say, the lychee tea was wonderful but the colour of the teapot was disgraceful. I'd give the place a star rating
While visiting London for the first time we knew we had to have Afternoon Tea. We chose The Brasserie for its proximity to Hyde Park and Kensington Palace, our destinations for the day. We had a lovely Afternoon Tea experience! The food was exceptional, tea was steaming, and the staff was so friendly. We couldn’t have asked for a better time
Amazing service from Najat, she was so friendly and attentive
When we arrived at for our booking, there was no one available to greet us. The afternoon tea area was tucked away in a corner behind what appeared to be the breakfast bar. We were so disappointed by the appearance of the place that we did not stay
We didn't feel The Brasserie offered much variety. We arrived to be told that the Asian menu wasn't available that day, leaving very limited menu choices especially if you wanted to be healthy. My steak and chips was fine but my wife ordered the 'superfood salad', which transpired to be a huge bowl of spinach with a tiny bit of rice, three slices of avocado and a tiny bit of quinoa. Very disappointing for The service was pretty good, but there wasn't much of an atmosphere and we didn't feel it represented good value for money, even for central London
