The Archduke - London

Friday was really hot so the air conditioning was great! Lovely staff, attentive and friendly. Great place to have a drink before eating. Cocktails were well priced and served quickly. Spur bank is busy and a bit hectic so this was a welcome find calm and relaxed. Food was served efficiently. Artichoke dip as a starter was a big hit.

Great place to eat, air conditioning good on a hot day. Service was good, would go there again. It did get a bit noisy towards the end.

Whenever we visit London we have dinner at the Archduke and have never been disappointed. Friendly attentive staff deliver great food in a great setting.

Lovely place under the railway arches with lots of atmosphere. Staff very welcoming, helpful and professional. Food was a let down though. One of our party had scampi and it was a small portion, probably more suitable as a child's portion. Two of us had burgers one of which was £17 and the other was £23. Whilst the fries were really delicious, the burgers were very poor quality; lots of grisly bits in them which could be totally avoided if the mince was the 5% fat one from Tesco!! Cheesecake was delicious and a good size portion. 4th member of our party had the chicken and he said it was very nice. I guess if we'd avoided the burgers and scampi, we'd have been much happier. He ho!
