Amazing food very creative and loved the Discovery Menu. Thoroughly recommend for a nice brunch/lunch.

This was our second visit to Tendril having enjoyed our first visit immensely, this time introducing the friendly, high-quality vegetarian venue to our 17-year-old daughter. I should mention that my partner has been a vegetarian for more than 35 years while I was raised in the Midwest United States and have been a committed carnivore ever since...our daughter is a mix of both worlds. Together, we love food of all types and enjoy both cooking in and dining out, and it is always a wonderful event when we are treated to an experience like that offered by Tendril. Simply put, Tendril is a comfortable, welcoming dining venue, serving fresh, delicious, inventive vegetarian food in small plate offerings by relaxed, informative, and friendly staff. Every dish on the six-course 'Discovery ' menu (not including the complimentary chef 's starter) was perfectly prepared, delicious, and complementary to the subsequent dish. Items like smoked aubergine with pumpkin seeds and pomegranate to 'Chinatown ' purple potatoes with sticky soy on a most flavorful sesame cracker to linguine primavera with pumpkin seed pesto are most pleasing to the palate of vegetarians and even the skeptical carnivore. Cocktails, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic are inventive, as is the wine list of new and old-world wines. The environment is small but comfortable, and the staff is outstanding from the welcoming at the front door to the genuine goodbyes at departure. Public transportation is probably wise as parking can be a challenge, but however you get there, it 's well worth the trip!

Excellent food, great service. Complex flavours, creative menu, well presented, really exceeded expectations. A great experience. Would recommend unreservedly.
