Taro - London

I have ordered from Taro through Deliveroo several times and have never been let down. I finally had the chance to dine at the restaurant on Saturday at 5 pm and it was a pleasant and peaceful experience. The standout dishes for me were the Balham Roll and Drachen Roll. If you're in search of fresh food and generous portions, Taro is the place to go!

Loved this local Japanese spot. super friendly staff, fast service and eating was excellent. we ordered a series of sushi and it tasted all fresh and tasty. was also pleasantly surprised when we got the bill and saw that it had cost less than expected meaning also great worth! will definitely be back to try the Bento boxes.

I was here a couple times and love eating! the workers are mostly brilliant, but we went last week and they gave someone in our group a cup to drink their bottle of foam water when they were made of glass. the cup was dirty (lipstick stain and dried on food we could scrape off) so we asked to swap it and the woman who served us seemed very upset with this and still very blunt, sighing when we said we needed 2 more minutes to decide about our orders (we were only there about 10 minutes). my sister ordered first, then after we heard our commands to apologize, they will hate me and laugh. the woman just rolled her eyes. the rest of the staff was great, I would give him 5 stars, it was not for their creepy service, so we feel like an annoying.

Great quality sushi available before place and decent preisen eat in or around, well on the way to another long time balham institution. always very popular at the evenings.

We found the rolls and teriyaki to be quite delicious. Staff was attentive. Lose one star because they did not cater to us the customer when asked if we could mix the meats in the teriyaki. You can upcharge but the customer should be able to get what they want.
