Steam Bar - London

For a hotel bar this is pretty goodfor a cocktail bar in the grungy Paddington area, it's outstanding.

This bar, although convenient in it's location next to the train station, is not quite what I had imagined as it could use a bit of a revamp and redesign.

I was initially told that I could not make a reservation and was directed to another restaurant. Eventually, the manager had to step in, however the service was poor and the food was terrible. I would recommend avoiding this place.

I visited this bar and asked in advance about the minimum spend of £10.00 per hour. The staff were rude and only seemed interested in making customers buy more drinks. I couldn't believe that a luxury hotel like Hilton would have such a policy. My experience was extremely disappointing and I will not be returning to this bar. I plan to lodge a complaint with Hilton headquarters about their ridiculous policy. The bar was not busy, but the customer service was poor and the policy was nonsensical.
