They no longer sell alcohol but there is an excellent off licence next door and they don't charge for you to take any in with you and will keep them cold in the fridge. The food is excellent, very tasty. Clean and good atmosphere. Staff really helpful
This long established north Barnes Indian is precious to locals for its great value menu .. many more would relish its Prawn purée at 3.95 or halftandoori chicken at 7.95 Bring your own alcohol and they gladly open and supply glasses . Right next to the closed Hammersmith Bridge .. many would find it worth pushing the bike or walking the bridge to find the Indian inflation missed . Chicken vindaloo is unbeatable quality at 7.95 . Visit before the manager crosses the bridge and realises the rest of west London has hiked prices instead .
I was torn on how many stars to leave spice of night, my wife and I went to get a curry to try to naturally encourage my wife into labour, unfortunately the spice was not strong enough to do this, however the food poisoning we received the next day was bad enough our baby stopped moving and she had to be induced instead. So I suppose our goal was reached one way or another…
One of the best Indians I’ve ever had, moved to Barnes 4 months ago and have been almost 10 times. Lovely staff too!
We are regular patrons of Spice of Night and have been for over 10 years. This restaurant never disappoints us. The service is excellent and the food is delicious. They have a diverse menu and are willing to help guide you through it and make recommendations. The curries are well-prepared and the breads are always fresh. The tandoori dishes are especially amazing. Don't miss out on trying the lamb chops!
