Shoku - London

I took my mother to the Two Sisters restaurant for her birthday last Sunday. We were immediately greeted and informed about the brunch options (i.e. buffet versus brunch specials and other adjustments, such as turkey bacon instead of pork). I think this is a great place for a relaxed brunch and definitely for a mother-daughter date. We loved the food and the service. We drove to a Groupon and will definitely drive again without the Groupon. Worth it.

The food was excellent and the service excellent. The dessert menu cannot be overlooked. We ordered chocolate cake, bread pudding with vanilla sauce and freshly fried churros with dulce de leche sauce. It was very difficult to choose one of the three as favorites.

Yasai Gyoza Wasabi Lamb & Broccoli BBQ Ribs Chicken Yakitori Skewers Spicy Beef Yaki Udon King Prawn & Squid Fried Rice Got these all as take out.

Not exactly Japanese - more Pan-Asian with a distinct flavour of Japan.
