Really good english breakfast in a quiet restaurant We went there on 10am and it was empty so we enjoyed the restaurant all to ourselves.
Lovely ambience, beautifully designed menu, delicious food, gorgeous wine, great old fashions, top service and a cosy fire place to sit around after your
A group of us went in November and all ended up ill. The common denominator was the oysters, though Quo Vadis denied any responsibility. Fair enough and they were good enough to offer a complimentary meal up to £150 (original cost was in excess of £500). I went with my husband for said complimentary meal and we were rushed from the very beginning. We’d not even been there an hour and a half and were told they’d need our table back before the stipulated two hours. What a weird experience when they were supposedly trying to make us feel welcome. Sorry, I just don’t get this place. I was a returning customer after numerous visits following a bout of food poisoning though they accepted no responsibility and made to feel like a **** nuisance. The lack of customer care/service is an absolute joke. Owner Jeremy Lee may be a celebrity chef but these places seem to rely on their reputation when maybe they need to take care of the people coming through the doors. I won’t be back.
Our lunch meal was excellent as was the service. Would certainly visit there again. A tad surprised there was no vegetarian option on the menu.
