The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that during my last two visits (out of three total), the palmiers were completely overcooked! The first time I tried them, they had the perfect combination of crispiness and chewiness. They should have that chewy texture—not just be crispy—and I know they're a signature item here. Aside from that, everything is made with high-quality ingredients and a great attention to detail. The coffee is also quite good!
I already wanted to try one because the miel Bakery bakery bakery and had a chance recently while I was in the opposite
OMG, I can’t say enough about this place! Everything I had was stellar! DON’T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE HAM CHEESE CROISSANT!! I am still drooling over the ham cheese croissant. It was leg shaking, jump for joy, sing aloud GOOD. I was only visiting London, but If you live there and haven’t been…..YOU MUST GO. Everything was incredibly fresh too
One of the best bakeries you can find nearby! Love the sausage roll and the English take on a Greek spanakopita with Feta (Spinach Pie) A bit pricy for me as a traveller but well worth it!! bravo
Came in at around 4 today and they were out of palmiers so I had the kouign amman. I’d never tried it before and assumed it would taste similar to a palmier. However, I found it was too dense for me. Latte was decent but quite small in size. I think I’d definitely consider coming back to try something different but would recommend you show up early for more choice of baked goods. It’s within walking distance of Regent’s Park so definitely worth a trip if you’re in the area. Update: came here a second time to try the Alphonso mango tart as well as the Semla bun and hazelnut chocolate poc. Our favourite was the semla with its sweet almond paste and the cream which helped cut the sweetness. The mango tart was much smaller than I had expected it to be. It also didn’t give much in the way of taste. A bit disappointed with that seeing as it cost 5.50. The hazelnut pain au chocolat was lovely and light. I’d definitely get this and the semla again. Unfortunately they don’t have any syrups for iced drinks so I just got an iced latte which was good. I’ll definitely come back and try more of their items.
