Melanzana - London

What a great place! my wife is Italian and thought that eating was excellent. a truffle tagliatelle to die for and perfect pizza. we were a couple of times, always a great atmosphere, beautiful personal and beautiful for a post-season romantic walk along the river!

You. my family and I had a 1pm booking and were sitting right away. 20 minutes later we waited for someone to pick up our drink order. a five-member party came after us and received water, wine, broth and olive. we can all see that we do this experience. I had to ask about water three times, on which a very huffy waitress produced a carafe that had dried watermarks everywhere. we got starters that were in order. waiting between starter and main course was enormous. we were completely ignored by the waiting staff that I approached twice to ask for a service. the party of five had been fed and watered until this time and went on her way in complete frustration...read more

Seriously good. my first visit to this great little place fabtastic pasta, large red wine through the glass and one of the best coffees of all time. I can't wait to return.

Yummy in my mouth. I went to melanzana last Monday to dinner and rejoiced about my meal. I had the seppia pasta with clams and mustels as main and must suppele for beginners. the pasta was very different and delicious. I found out later that melanzana fresh pasta does not buy the dried items. I was so stuffed that I could only share one dessert that made the house tiramisu, I had no problems with the service. I found the waiter very attentive and he told us the menu. we will return definitiw.

Friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended. Great atmosphere. A party of 6 of us went for a weekend lunch a week after it's opening. All the tables were full and everyone seemed to be enjoying their meal. We all certainly did. We met people who were there for their 3rd visit. The staff are efficient and friendly. The deli and take-away, which have a good selection of tasty looking Italian food, were also doing a good trade.
