My cousin introduced me to Mangals years ago and we've visited fairly frequently since.
This is my favorite turk in london. amazingly grilled meat cooked over charcoal. I usually order the sis kebab or the adana yogurtlu as main. make sure to order the smokey aubergine patlacan salata as starter. the grilled side is also a favorite of me if you do not book dinner early at 18:00 or 19:00 to not wait. try to get a table far away from the charcoal grill, as the ventilation system sounds like a plane landing it is byo without cork fee. very efficient restaurant running like a well oiled machine.
How do they define a good kebab? It's good, easy. how do they define a really good kebab? it is when they keep it in their backpack for 2h, then they move it into the refrigerator for 24h, heat it in the microwave and it still has an amazing stamp that surprises them how great it tastes. the mangal probably has the best kebab I've ever eaten.
