Flavour and simplicity is the philosophy of this little place run by the larger than life chef Marcello.
Good food and friendly service. The bill was a little pricier than what we thought it would be: it seemed a little expensive to pay £50 for a main, a couple of starters to share and a bottle of wine.
I love this restaurant,Sardegnian specialities made by Marcelo the Chef/Patron,i could post pictures of the food or simply this picture of the maestro himself!.A lovely space with real soul and individuality, fresh pasta is a speciality and its cooked to perfection!
Very nice welcoming restaurant which we just happened to walk into. The staff are really nice friendly. Only 4 stars because the menu is quite small but you probably would be able to find something to eat on there anyway. Would definitely go back.
Since the last weeks I like to go outside the trendy new lists of restaurants, of which everyone speaks on the blogosphere or twitter. Instead I go to small independent restaurants near the center of london. I used to go to hudsons in putney, which was a big surprise. this time I had dinner at the finsbury park in a traditional South Italian restaurant: little sardegna . a friend introduced me to this place as she lives in front of him. when we arrived, the restaurant was completely empty, we had a booking for five people. in less than half an hour it was totally packed, they had to cancel the immigrants. the decoration is traditional, green and red checked tablecloths, written on the board and some Italian accessories on the wall. waitresses were very nice and Italian, making this place more authentic. on the back of the restaurant on the left side is a bar area and on the right side you can see the kitchen and cook the cook. I thought we had the best we could.
