A little slow on the night, but to be expected as it was very busy with all tables booked. On the evening they also had a live pianist which added to the atmosphere. Highly recommend!
A gem of a find in Soho, London (theater district), L 'escargot was one of our best culinary highlights ever! Impeccable service, amazing food perfectly cooked, combined with a very cozy ambiance. Voila! Our 90 minute experience turned into a 3 hours wine and food extravaganza, thanks to London 's rainy weather. Simply 5 stars ALL across the board. This will be our new staple every time we visit good 'old ' London. Want to re-emphasize the service, ambiance and perfect cuisine. Don 't leave without trying their signature Escargots. I love this place. Always impeccable service, a wonderful atmosphere and the food is to die for. Don’t leave without having l’escargot. Oh, and the truffle bread is amazing.
This charming restaurant is located in the Soho area, inside a beautiful Georgian townhouse with rich red decor. The food is exceptional and the service is top-notch. The staff is professional yet friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed. Despite being dressed in smart casual attire surrounded by more formally dressed patrons, I felt comfortable. The three-course set menu offers excellent value for money. I enjoyed a delicious pea and asparagus soup, followed by duck confit with puy lentils that was perfectly tender and cooked. The tarte au citron for dessert was one of the best I've ever had. This restaurant is a great choice for a quick lunch or pre-theatre dinner. I will definitely be returning!
This Soho restaurant is a delightful gem. I had a fantastic evening enjoying exquisite French cuisine. The lobster bisque was flavorful and intricate, the foie gras with Sauternes gelée was perfectly executed, and the escargots satisfied our cravings for garlic. The soufflé was airy and delicious. The only unexpected problem was the bar staff's lack of knowledge in serving pastis, as they gave me Ricard in a cognac glass without water or ice. Despite this small mistake, it was still a wonderful evening. Thank you to all involved.
