Lang - London

The food was decent, but went unnoticed and was too expensive. The staff was particularly irritating and the service was sluggish. Not worth recommending.

The cafe was beautiful, it's just a shame that it is now closed.

The service at this restaurant was extremely disappointing, especially given its proximity to the Shard. It took 30 minutes just to get our drinks, and the server seemed to mix up our orders. With so few customers, there was no excuse for such poor service. We will not be returning.

We booked the long for our breakfast so we could be safe on site before our pre-ordered visit to the viewpoint at the Shard...... We were early at 10.20am, the place was empty and the lady working behind the counter gave us a rather cold look at the arrival, so we think that the place was actually open.... but the meal itself was really nice and plentiful. We found the atmosphere quite 'cold', but this could only be the time of the day we arrived, it is a clean, modern café and certainly fits to a pleasant meal for everyone who wants to visit the Shard or nearby.

As I made my reservation 3days before arrival with special request to my partners birthday. We arrived at Lang, but it wasn't fully booked, therefore the waitress said to take place where we wanted because it wasn't full. I couldn't mention directly that we reserved for my partners birthday.. But after a minute my whispering helped . The food we ordered is very good. We know with our experience of Shangri-la in Asia that the breakfast is fantastic. At Lang Is also very quality food. I would say thanks to the surprise birthday cake because my love Sabrina was very happy about this. Thanks foe laking this perfect !
