La Divina - London

A friend said that this is her favourite Italian restaurant near us, and so when we were in the area yesterday, we decided to give it a go.

La Divina is a fairly average Italian trattoria with a worryingly extensive menu which includes such classics as prawns with avocado (read: prawn cocktail)

Popped in for lunch while running errands on Upper Street and ordered a salad and sparkling water (feeling very holy!).

We booked on table on Valentine's Day! The restaurant was busy, but not crowded. The atmosphere was lovely. The food was excellent: A special Valentine's Day menu which was reasonably priced. The garlic mushrooms for starters and the chicken and pasta were excellent. The wine was superb and the service excellent. We are going to eat there again tomorrow as it was so wonderful!

Really nice place, lovely atmosphere and food was incredible! Staff are nice and well worth the trip! Would definitely recommend and come again!
