Khokho - London

I had a reservation for 7:45 and 8:10, but no one came to acknowledge me for quite some time. Eventually, someone informed me that a table would be ready in five minutes and that I should go wait at the bar. When I got to the bar, there was no space available, and I ended up crammed in a corner. By 8:30, I had lost hope and decided to leave. I was very hungry, so I went to Tao Peking instead.

The place looks fabulous, great ambiente. Unfortunately, the service is very slow and the food was so. the starters were nice, but a bit bland. would not recommend.

I am not one to write reviews but this was the Worst restaurant I have ever been too!! Didn’t have most of the drinks on the menu, the ones they made were horrible had to send it back, didn’t bring my baby’s food until after our starters came even though I asked them to bring it first (had to remind them to bring it!! and it was just rice and yogurt), food wasn’t great. Informed the waitress about my nut allergy and she told me to follow the menu as it was doted with the various allergens. One of the dishes I ordered had nuts but it didn’t say that on the menu and I nearly had it!! My husband complained to them about it and the managers response was it was the menu department’s job to redo the menus and they had received a similar complaint the week before but had done nothing about it!! We needed to use the baby changing facility which they said they have but we can’t use at the moment as there is an issue. There was problem after problem from the minute we got there. Will definitely not be recommending this restaurant to anyone!

Not worth it, place trying to be fancy and cool when basics are not right.

Food was ok, but the service and the staff was to be desired for. We were hoping for a good night out with the Dj and cocktails. The DJ was told by staff to pack up early and we were told they didnt have the ingredients for all the cocktails we had wanted . Such a shame as we were really looking forward to having a night out. I had emailed the manager to inform him as he was not there that evening but yet to receive a reply ....
