I was feeling frustrated about not being able to update my blog regularly due to my busy life. In an ideal world, I wouldn't have to work and could spend my days relaxing, eating delicious food, traveling, reading books, watching movies, and being an amazing blogger. While that day may come in the future, for now my blog has taken a backseat. I am determined to find a better balance and start by sharing a new restaurant in Battersea with you. I am a big fan of Brixton Village Market, but had never tried one of the most popular restaurants, Kaosarn, until now. After reading Jay Rayner's positive review, it was on my must-visit list. I was thrilled to discover that Kaosarn had opened a second location on St. John's Hill, near where I live.
Kaosarn, which opened last year in Brixton Village, quickly gained a reputation for serving exceptional Thai cuisine. When I heard they had opened a second location in Battersea, I was eager to visit. I was not disappointed. Although I had not planned to write a blog post about my meal, I feel compelled to share a brief review because I had such a wonderful experience. We started with crispy chicken wings, fried to perfection, and some delicious moo ping (grilled pork). Both dishes were excellent, but the moo ping was a standout. For the main course, my companion and I both chose the kao pad kra-praw (fried minced pork with fresh chili and holy basil, topped with a runny roasted egg). The combination of flavors and textures was truly exquisite - the crispy edges of the egg were a delightful surprise. My friend was also impressed with the aubergine dish he ordered. Overall, our meal at Kaosarn was a memorable and enjoyable experience.
The restaurant has a very peaceful atmosphere with unique and delightful decorations that are pleasing to the eye. The host was very friendly and welcoming, with a subtle and unobtrusive approach. The food was outstanding and arrived quickly after we placed our order. I highly recommend visiting this hidden gem in the Clapham/Battersea area.
I visited this place for a birthday meal with a big group of people. My manager was very unfriendly as rude, and even though we took in a good stride, it might come across as offensive to a lot people. The food is exceptionally good, delicious and flavorful. There is a bring-your-own-booze system here, which makes dining here quite a reasonable affair. I would surely recommend it.
