The prices are reasonable and the quality of the food is excellent. This just goes to show that you shouldn't judge a restaurant by its appearance. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to try Indonesian cuisine.
Although the menu promised a lot (albeit at high prices considering the setting), the food was only average. The atmosphere is informal and laid-back, but the tables are cramped and closely packed together, giving off a canteen-like vibe. The staff seemed to be struggling to keep up with the full house, resulting in a chaotic and disorganized experience. We may give it another try since it's close by, hoping that our first visit was just a fluke. Fingers crossed for a better experience next time!
Really good authentic food and service. As well this place serves Bin Tang beer, which is rather hard to get in London. Indonesian food taste authentic.
The casual ambience at Japindo was perfect for meeting up with friends. The Indonesian dishes were said to be authentic, and the special offering allowed us to sample a variety of main dishes at a great value. Highly recommended for a delicious and budget-friendly meal with friends.
Best Indonesian food restaurant in London, bar noneA friend accidentally found this place during morning run and told me about this little gem.
