Eko Wine Bar Restaurant - London

My colleagues and I went out for a Christmas dinner, and we had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was clean and charming, enhanced by a live band playing a variety of music. We all had a great time and enjoyed the fantastic selection of songs. The customer service was exceptional, making the evening even more enjoyable.

It was evident that the staff was working hard, but they were constantly being yelled at by the two managers. One staff member particularly caught my attention as he seemed to be receiving the brunt of the manager's anger. We placed our food order, and while it arrived relatively quickly, the quality was neither exceptional nor terrible. After we finished our meal, there was an incident involving the young staff member and the managers. Both managers began to shout at him, though it was difficult to hear their actual words. The confrontation ended when the male manager told the young man to "take your bag and leave." He complied, apologizing to the manager and bidding farewell to his colleagues as he exited. I managed to speak with him outside, and he explained that he was blamed for giving the wrong order to an Uber Eats delivery driver, despite having double-checked every order. This was only his second day on the job, and it was disheartening to see how the manager treated their staff. The young man seemed uncertain about whether he had made a mistake. I couldn't help but feel that the managers exhibited biased behavior, as they seemed to treat the staff from Nigeria with respect while being harsh towards others. If you're considering dining here, I would recommend looking for another African restaurant instead.

The food was delightful, and the restaurant really captures the essence of Nigerian culture.

They serve delicious food in this place only that they take a lot of time to get ur food to u … but they are highly recommended

Eko Restaurant came to our rescue when we were on the hunt for jollof rice because two other restaurants didn't have. One thing I appreciate about this restaurant is that, they had all meals on their menu available even though we came at 9pm and they had parking. The food arrived within reasonable time and the meals were very tasty. First time here, definitely not the last.
