Duke of York - London

The duke of york is a refined pub in the shops of the wood st. john, a stone throw away from the tube. After visiting for a drink before, I enjoyed the relaxed and stylish atmosphere of the pub and decided to return to see if their menu has lived up to my experiences. the long answer will give them a little more detailed about why.

Had to wait an hour for my mediocre eating. on a normal working day!? was not terrible either. the service was with eating on place (all to neglect)

Cosy. During the day it is a cozy place to lunch, sitting on the fireplace and watching the people. Wi-Fi and many interesting regular make it a great place for a pub lunch and to do some work. we had the fish cakes and hotcakes that were delicious. the service was great and it was nice to chat with interesting locals who read the paper.

Dog-friendly with extensive menu filled with local for sterile feel environment

Visited here today for the first time. A nice little place but the member of staff with the Apollo 11 jumper who served us could do with some people skills. It’s not hard to smile and make new customers feel welcomed.
