The food I had at De Santis was 3 star worthy: the service, 5 star. Needing dinner before heading home, it was either this or Pizza Express.

I like to order some of their pasta dishes for lunch in generalI have tried a few options and I liked the tagliolini with prawns pasta special.

Essential eating has to happen at lunch time, and if you want a proper sit down meal in the Farringdon/Clerkenwell area you'll be pushed to find something

Friday Lunch between meetings..looked good from the window of grilled vegetables and platters. Once in it all fell down from there. Appauling service..four waiters all chatting..quiche was non plussed by salad was literally lettuce and tomatoes plonked on a plate then wine came after food...and the bread never came. I have walked past here many times and thought I would give it a try. Big mistake wish frnkly I had gone to Benugo next door. Or Gregg's quite frankly. S I wrote the waiters are still chatting and totally absorbed in their gossip..

The Nutella pastry was divine as was the delicious lasagna. Loved chatting with Enzo, the owner. He stays open late. Enjoy!
