Vegan option ridiculously expensive. Tasty, but £18 for a slice Aubergine is blackmail
Nice views, ambiance and wine as always. Good food but the portions are minuscule and we had to add a cheese course to feel full. Can't understand why they are so stingy with the amount of food.
We visited Craft before an event at the O2. It was such a good choice. The best meal we’ve ever had at the O2. Beautiful food, we had the 3 courses for £25 offer. Service was spot-on with friendly staff looking after our every need. I would highly recommend and will definitely return.
The food was outstanding. As a party of 7 eating a la carte (one pregnant, one vegetarian and gluten free , we covered most of the menu. I think everyone thought every dish at least very good and often delicious. (I had IPA cured trout, lamb saddle with fava beans and spring greens with smoked garlic yogurt, then chocolate mousse with coffee cake: all excellent . The portions are small. We are talking nouvelle cuisine, art on plates. The wine list is unusual and expensive. Our party included two winos, who knew the trade price of these less usual wines. Very good producers, but significantly marked up (unless bought badly! That said, the sommelier was excellent passionate and knew his stuff introducing us to a rare Pineau D'Aunis. He also danced around the table, often singing, which was understandable given the volume of the music. Craft is a cool space, it has a cocktail bar on the floor above with glass walls overlooking the 02. But even the restaurant feels like a night club, with its bold blues, glass, slate and metal. So was this a foodie experience in an unusual space, or my best ever meal in a night club?
