Chettinad Restaurant - London

They say they are vegetarian friendly, but they are not suitable for vegetarians. they cook their vegetarian food in the same oil as they cook their fish. they consider fish as vegetarian! I ordered the chettinad panner starter, it was nowhere near the aromen of what a Chettinad scatterer would offer. a Chettinad spircher would have kuminkern, pfeffer, curry leaves and red chilies. I found nothing of what they gave me was a panner star with capsicum and indo chinese flavor. it did not taste that great either most of their vegetarian food seems like its frozen vegetables and they are not fresh. Well eating atmosphere are fresh and tasty prices are reasonable service is good to compare them with other Indian restaurants in london I suggest these one

Great food. very bad customer service. all the waiters seem to be lost in their own world! had to ask 3 times for water, finally delivered.

Authentic Indian food indo Chinese when they remember that Indian Chinese van fou, try it once. also in the partybuffet they can enjoy the same eating.

We visited Chettinad today and what a lovely place! We had been looking for a good south Indian restaurant and we found this little gem! Waiter Arun was very welcoming and very friendly. The food was delicious and so very reasonably priced. We would definitely return without a doubt when we are in the area again.
