Casa Do Frango Shoreditch - London

Firstly my reservation wasn't even on their log? Food was OK and the service was fine, but why on earth except our booking at 4.45 if you're shutting the kitchen at 5 giving us only 15 minutes to decide on the menu and the inability to order further dishes on what is ostensibly a tapas style menu overall I don't feel any great impetus to return.

I made a reservation at this restaurant 7 days in advance for a gathering with friends who were visiting from outside of London. On the day of our reservation, I received a call 2 hours beforehand asking if we could come in 15 minutes earlier than our booked time of 4:45pm, as it was their last seating. Despite arriving at 4:25pm, the restaurant was already closed, which was very disappointing.

The service at this restaurant was extremely lacking. We were completely ignored and had to ask for our order to be taken at the bar three times. The quality of the food was also disappointing, as we were expecting much better.

The seafood rice was poorly cooked and did not taste authentic. The ham croquettes and cod fritters need improvement, with more cod in the fritters and a better quality ham in the croquettes. The chicken was the only highlight of the meal. Overall, this restaurant is not a good representation of quality Portuguese cuisine.

Lovely meal, great atmosphere, friendly staff, I will be back!
