Bread Street Kitchen - London

I don’t know why wherever you go in London it has to be popping music in your ears so that you can’t relax. I guess everything has to drain your brain until you leave the city, right? Why can’t we simply enjoy quiet music and each others company in one place? Ah, I remember why, people in London are also inconsiderably loud. Apologies.

Claudette and Raphael went above and beyond for us. We really wanted the beef Wellington, but unfortunately they were out. However, Claudette and Raphael came to the rescue and got the chef’s to roll one for us. It was amazing! Our daughter loved her bangers and mash! Can’t say enough about the service and food!

The food and service at this restaurant were outstanding. I will definitely be coming back.

We said our starter (waghu meatballs) were overcooked. Response from waitress no one else has ever said that before. We ordered carafe of The Pale. They brought a bottle difference of £19! Service charge is 15%. Average service, Average food and no atmosphere. Definitely will not be going back.

Great food, great setting but the service is just too slow. Partly because the waiting staff aren’t ’on it’ enough. And that’s been the case on the two occasions I’ve dined there, sadly. So much so we ended up getting coffee and pudding elsewhere following our most recent visit to BSK.
